Cincinnati Solid Wood Reversible Swing
There is something timeless about a swing. It slows the afternoon, invites conversation, and turns an ordinary corner of the home into a place you want to stay. This two-seater hanging swing takes the spirit of the traditional Indian jhula and gives it a clean, contemporary form, with warm wood, brushed brass and soft textured upholstery.

Design and craftsmanship

The swing is built on a solid wood frame in a rich, deep walnut-toned finish that shows the natural grain. The base platform has a softly rounded edge that is smooth to the touch and gives the piece a solid, grounded look. The backrest panel is framed in the same dark wood, and fine vertical fluting at either end adds a subtle handcrafted detail that catches the light.

Brushed brass metalwork brings warmth and structure. Slim brass supports hold the armrests in place, and a fine brass rail runs along the sides of the seat platform, adding a refined, jewel-like accent against the dark timber. The metal details are slender and deliberate, so they add character without crowding the piece.

Comfort

The deep, generously padded seat cushion and the upholstered backrest are covered in a woven, textured fabric in a muted charcoal-brown. The tone is easy to live with: it hides everyday wear, and it suits both warm and cool interiors. The thick seat cushion supports you through long afternoons of reading, chai and conversation, and the broad backrest supports your posture. Sturdy wooden armrests give you a comfortable place to rest your arms, curl up with a book or balance a cup.
