Overview

Some pieces of furniture fill a room, and others change how it feels. This hanging swing belongs to the second kind. It carries the old Indian tradition of the jhula into a clean, contemporary form: a sculpted wooden seat, a mustard-gold upholstered cushion, and ornate brass chains that rise to the ceiling. It works as a statement piece and a place to slow down at the same time.

Design

The seat is a single curved wooden form. Its base sweeps gently upward at both ends into soft, flared armrests, which cradle the body and give the piece a graceful, boat-like silhouette. The deep walnut-toned finish shows off the natural grain of the wood, so every swing has its own character. A rich mustard linen-textured cushion sits snugly within the frame. Its warm golden tone contrasts beautifully with the dark wood and picks up the glow of the brass above.

Comfort
The contoured seat and flared ends support you whether you are reading, sipping chai, chatting with family, or simply swinging. The generous cushion gives soft, comfortable seating, and the gentle motion of the swing makes it a natural spot for unwinding at the end of the day.
